 So, the report goes... We played a great final, really stuck it to Rochedale! Although we lost on the last penalty, it was hash! We started with a bang, scoring first and looking the much better team. With our captain(ME  ) on the bench, we started to degrade and eventually allowed Rochadale to score twice before the end of the half! After talks in the dressing room, the team lifted a minute bit, but could not produce the goods. On a pre-planned move, ARG came into the picture, with like 30-25mins to go we lifted and I scored the equalizer from a cross, as we practiced all season! Nothing much happened during the two halves of extra time, so the harsh desiding way of penalties was to take place.. We scored all, but one and they punished that, although we practiced them all season! |
