The shananigas of Dan, Bretz, Jay and Arg continue as they take on Sydney to whats the soccerwhoos. Although 1/2 the trip got postponed due to players not being available for Argentina, we are still having fun....
Brisbane Strikers place two teams in the inagural Beach Football Tournament for 2006. 'Strikers' & 'Strikers Bhoys', these two teams played eachother for the first time during the round robin. The 'Strikers' team defeated the Bhoys 10-4, but ultimatly the Bhoys went on to the final putting Strikers away on penalties after the score was locked at 7 a piece. Although Strikers Bhoys did well in the final to keep the score tight at 3-3 against Mitchelton A, Mitchelton resorted to violence to gain the upper hand. With elbows and kicks, to various parts of the body of the Bhoys, Mitchelton won 7-5 after leaving the Bhoys without substitues.All in All, it was a good fun day!
